Onboard accommodation

We want every narrow boat rental that we book to be of the highest quality and as we grow we will keep adding to our fleet. We intend to have a young fleet of identical 'Navigator Class' boats so that all our valued customers benefit from the same high standards on any of our craft.

We purchase our narrowboats from the designer and builder of the UK’s very best rental narrowboats. Their award-winning designs use the best possible materials and mechanical equipment and this, combined with over 20 years experience of crafting the perfect hire boat, makes Navigator Holidays’ boats the clear choice on the River Thames for your family holiday.

Flexible Accommodation

Our thames boat hire offers flexible sleeping arrangements in the stern cabin where you will be able to choose between a double bed or 2 single beds. The different options available for the stern cabin (1 double or 2 singles) can be seen here: Layout 1 and Layout 2.

What's on board?

Each boat benefits from front windows that are double glazed and carpeting throughout the main cabin (but not in the kitchen or bathroom). Our double and single beds have interior sprung mattresses, an airing cupboard and are centrally heated with radiators. The bathroom has a full size shower with a 140 gallon stainless steel water tank for your fresh water. We provide a digital FreeView LCD colour television, DVD player and CD player. The fully equipped kitchens have gas fired cookers with oven, grill and 4 cooking rings, the kitchen also has an electric fridge on board that has a small chiller compartment. A 12 volt [car lighter] plug point is available for mobile phone charging. Proper [macerator] toilets similar to yours at home dispose to discrete tanks. All our boats have the safe cruiser stern for family cruising.

You will be cruising on a new boat of high quality with quiet engines and a large stern deck for all the family to enjoy the scenery. Inside you'll find a comfortable living area and a fully fitted kitchen with quality white goods and everything you'll need. Our bedrooms come with plush feather duvets (please tell us if you are allergic) and fresh cotton linen, and our boats are centrally heated for your comfort. Our boats don't look like hire boats so you'll feel proud to cruise the waterways. Our boats have ‘Cruiser’ style sterns. These are designed to give you safe, comfortable cruising. They provide integral seating with steel safety rails and all the controls are within easy reach.
